October 2: The 3 Zodiac Signs With the Best Luck on the Friday Before Korea's Double Holiday Weekends
Published October 2, 2026
It's Friday, October 2 — the last ordinary workday before Gaecheonjeol, Korea's National Foundation Day, which commemorates the legendary founding of the ancient kingdom of Gojoseon by Dangun in 2333 BCE. It falls on Saturday this year, but a substitute holiday on Monday still turns this into a genuine three-day weekend. And it doesn't stop there — Hangul Day brings a second three-day weekend just a week later, so Korea is heading into a rare back-to-back holiday stretch. A few zodiac signs are catching unusually good energy for exactly this moment.
1. Scorpio — Finishes the Week With Unusual Precision
Scorpio tends to lock in hardest right before a break, and today that focus is working in your favor. A task you've been circling without quite finishing suddenly clicks into place if you sit with it for one more hour instead of pushing it to next week. Closing loops cleanly today means the long weekend starts with nothing hanging over you.
2. Sagittarius — The Travel Itch Pays Off
With two holiday weekends now visible on the horizon, Sagittarius's restlessness turns into genuinely good instincts. A half-formed idea for a short trip or a spontaneous plan floated today is more likely than usual to actually come together well. Trust the urge to move rather than talking yourself out of it.
3. Gemini — Catching Up Pays Off Twice
Gemini's social battery is unusually strong today, and a quick message to someone you've been meaning to reconnect with lands better than expected. Whether it's coordinating holiday plans or just checking in, conversations started today tend to carry real warmth into the days off. Don't let a good exchange end with just "let's talk soon."
Not One of Today's Three? That's Fine.
Missing out on today's especially lucky energy doesn't mean the long weekend won't treat you well. These three signs simply have the clearest tailwind on this particular Friday — most people will feel the holiday mood lift on their own by Saturday morning regardless.
